The Realspeed RS55 SLR is the pinnacle of the RS55 line — an aero wheelset engineered without compromise, pulling out every stop in pursuit of pure speed. A 55mm profile built to cut through the air, at a weight that rivals wheels half its depth — hold speed on the flats and still feel alive the moment the road tilts up.

RIM GEOMETRY

The RS55 SLR's 55mm rim profile was shaped and refined in a bicycle-specific wind tunnel, delivering a meaningful reduction in drag at race speeds. The hooked rim design features a modern 21mm internal width and 28mm external width, striking the ideal balance between wide tire support, aerodynamic efficiency, and compatibility with a broad range of tubeless and clincher tires.

HANDBUILT IN CANADA

Every RS55 SLR is handbuilt in Canada, where skilled wheelbuilders hand-lace, tension, and true each wheel to exacting standards. It retains the ultra-high-modulus Torayca T1100G carbon rim and ceramic bearings of the SL, then goes further with Vonoa full carbon fiber aero bladed spokes with titanium end fittings — dramatically reducing unsprung weight while increasing torsional stiffness for more direct power transfer and sharper handling.
