RIM GEOMETRY
The RS40 SLR's 40mm rim profile was shaped and refined in a bicycle-specific wind tunnel, delivering a genuine aero advantage on flats and rolling terrain to complement its class-leading weight. The hooked rim design features a modern 21mm internal width and 28mm external width, striking the ideal balance between wide tire support, aerodynamic efficiency, and compatibility with a broad range of tubeless and clincher tires.
HANDBUILT IN CANADA
Every RS40 SLR is handbuilt in Canada, where skilled wheelbuilders hand-lace, tension, and true each wheel to exacting standards. It retains the ultra-high-modulus Torayca T1100G carbon rim and ceramic bearings of the SL, then goes further with Vonoa full carbon fiber aero bladed spokes with titanium end fittings — dramatically reducing unsprung weight while increasing torsional stiffness for more direct power transfer and sharper handling.
