At just 798 grams, the RS-5 minimizes rotational mass — translating directly into faster acceleration out of the gate and quicker response through every effort on the boards. The full carbon monocoque layup is engineered for maximal stiffness-to-weight ratio, so every watt you put into the pedals becomes forward motion.
Every curve of the 5-spoke blade profile has been shaped and validated using computational fluid dynamics software, reducing drag across a range of yaw angles for consistent, predictable handling at velodrome speeds. The 55mm depth profile strikes the balance between aerodynamic gain and rider control, while the wide 21mm rim pairs seamlessly with today's high-performance track tubulars.
