An 80mm depth is optimized for maximum aerodynamic advantage on flats, rolling terrain, and time trial efforts, while the 28mm external / 21mm internal width profile is tuned around modern road tire standards. This width properly shapes and supports tires from 28mm to 32mm, improving aerodynamic tire-to-rim transition, cornering stability, and comfort at race pressures.

Each RS80 SL is handbuilt in Canada by experienced wheelbuilders, ensuring precise spoke tension, true, and long-term reliability that machine-built wheels can't match. It's built around Realspeed RS-SL hubs, upgraded with ceramic bearings for reduced friction and even smoother, faster rolling. Paired with Sapim CX-Ray aero bladed spokes, the wheelset delivers razor-sharp responsiveness, excellent power transfer, and the low-drag profile serious racers demand.
