The Realspeed RS3D Integrated MonoCup System for the Aquila Cycles Crono SLR is a fully integrated aerodynamic forearm support system designed specifically for the geometry and cockpit configuration of the Crono SLR platform. Designed around the original factory extensions, this system incorporates a rigid mounting plate with integrated arm scoops to create a seamless, supportive, and aerodynamic cockpit solution. The MonoCup design encloses the rider's forearms to improve comfort, stability, and positional consistency during long-duration aero efforts while helping reduce upper-body movement in aggressive riding positions. Installation Instructions
Tools Required: 4 mm hex wrench (or appropriate tool for your hardware)
- Remove existing armrests and hardware from the cockpit if applicable.
- Confirm the angle of the riser prior to installation of the MonoCup.
- Position the MonoCup System over the original Crono SLR extensions.
- Ensure the front section of the MonoCup is properly supported by the front section of the extensions.
- Align the mounting holes with the cockpit mounting locations.
- Install using the provided hardware only.
- Lightly tighten all hardware before final alignment.
- Verify the MonoCup sits evenly and is fully supported by the extensions.
- Tighten the primary mounting hardware to a maximum of 5 Nm.
- Tighten accessory hardware and add-on components to a maximum of 2 Nm.
- Verify all mounting hardware is secure before riding.
